Use
During the Eocene Epoch, between 40 and 50 million years ago, several climate changes took place on Earth, when the most important mountain ranges were formed, including the Pyrenees. At that time the sea which covered most of what is now the Iberian mountain range, withdrew, leaving beds of gypsum, minerals and red clay. Today, at a depth of 700 metres, we extract from them a salt that is low in sodium, rich in potassium, conserves important properties and is free of marine contaminants. The crystals are collected without applying refining processes, meaning that it conserves all the minerals of the ancient sea, and in particular, potassium. These crystals quickly dissolve in the mouth, leaving a mild, long-lasting taste.

Origin
Mineral rock salt extracted at a depth of 700 metres from the central region of Catalonia.

Ingredients
Gem salt with a low sodium content (sodium chloride, potassium chloride).

Use

For seasoning all types of dishes. The perfect substitute for common table salt, as it contains less sodium and more minerals.
