Fossil Salt Flakes® are pyramid-shaped salt crystals with a mild flavour due to their mineral origin and high content of trace elements but without that slightly bitter aftertaste of other marine salt flakes. When the Salt Flakes are added before serving, they blend with the dish, enhancing the flavour of the food. With a mild taste and scent of smoke. They are smoked over a natural flame and the hot smoke binds to the salt, giving it a mild taste of firewood.
