The famous salt that tastes of egg!

Black Himalayan salt, also known as black salt, Kala Namak, Sulemani Namak or Kala loon, the black salt of the Himalayas, is a very special type of unrefined mineral rock salt with less salting power than common salt.
It comes from the Himalayas and has a distinctive sulphur-like taste. It tastes quite unlike marine or table salt as its chemical composition contains sulphur compounds and traces of different minerals, along with sodium chloride, potassium chloride and iron. According to classic Indican medicine (Ayurvreda), Black Himalayan Salt has important therapeutic benefits, is rich in iron, aids digestion and is very good for flatulence and heartburn.
